Unravelled Thoughts Mixed‑Media

Description: This mixed‑media textile piece incorporates a commercially produced fabric (made by Edinburgh Weavers) as its background layer. Building on this foundation, I added machine‑embroidered stitching, textural details, and subtle surface interventions to create a new composition. The work centres on material dialogue, how colour, pattern, and tactile marks interact, while clearly acknowledging the commercial fabric as one component within a wider creative process.
